5.0 Ford into '86-'91 RX-7 Conversion Parts

...Full Length 1-3/4" Headers for 2nd gen/Ford conversion...
Jim Galloway reports he is very happy using the BBK #15690 headers on his conversion. BBK calls them "351 Swap Headers", and they come with 1-3/4" primaries, 3/8" flanges, and dome style collectors. They are available in chrome (#1569) and ceramic coated (#15690) finishes, and you can get them from Summit Racing.

...SPECIAL 2nd gen SB FORD / T5 KIT...
This new Basic kit features a lower engine mounting position that eliminates the need to modify the top of the transmission tunnel to clear the shifter stub. A dog-leg shifter is still needed to position the stick correctly in the boot, very much like those used in the Cobra kit cars. The lower crankshaft centerline also adds some much needed hood room, opening up the possibility of fitting the T-Bird and '94-up 5.0 Mustang plenum profiles under the stock RX-7 hoodline. Also includes a relocation bracket to allow the shifter to come up thru the RX-7's stock shifter boot.

...New Radiator for 2nd gen / Ford Conversion...
We now have available a "double pass" radiator that has both the inlet and outlet on the driver's side, eliminating the need for special plumbing to clear the stock Mustang 5.0 alternator drive pulley.

...351W oil pan...
If you would like to install a 351W in your 2nd gen, you will need an oil pan from a 351W equipped Crown Victoria (the police car Crown Vics came w/ the 351W).
