Although the firewall was cut away to clear the large HEI distributor that came on this engine, using a later '88-up distributor w/ a remote coil eliminates the need for surgery.
Missing in this picture is the aluminum radiator's upper seal plate that directs cool air into the core of the radiator instead of around it.
The Turbo II hood closes with room to spare, after a small portion of the underhood bracing is cut away.
